What is your primary product or service?
Medi-Vet.com offers online sales of pet products and veterinary supplies to pet owners, veterinarians and pharmacies. Our clinic, Abita Trace Animal Clinic, began seeing clients in 2004.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I graduated from Oklahoma State University Veterinary School in 1976. Since graduation, I've always been involved with animal rescue groups in the treatment of injured or ill animals, as well as in the spay and neuter programs. Medi-Vet Animal Health began out of their need for veterinary supplies.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Medi-Vet Animal Health is the only wholesale drug distributor in the area. Online prices are available to anyone visiting Abita Trace Animal Clinic. Complementary exams are offered for heartworm medications as well as other pet prescription needs.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We're continuing to expand our line of veterinary products and pet supplies.
