LAAPA Music-Dance-Theater is a comprehensive institution dedicated to teaching music, dance, and drama. Founded in 1978, it aims to instill a lifelong appreciation and skill in the performing and creative arts through inspiring teaching methods. With locations in Covington, Mandeville, and River Ridge, LAAPA serves as one of Southeast Louisiana?s leading private education centers for the performing arts. The academy offers lessons for all ages and levels, from beginners to those preparing for professional auditions, in a wide range of disciplines including piano, voice, guitar, violin, drums, ballet, hip hop, acting, and more. Classes are available online or on-campus, tailored to meet individual interests and goals with a focus on creating a positive, motivational environment.
